Durham's 2026–27 standard one-semester tuition is $1,388.24 domestic. The international standard adds a $6,356.22 premium. These figures exclude ancillary fees, books, supplies, technology, learning materials and off-campus activity costs; nonstandard programs can differ. Use the fee estimator and account summary for the actual program and intake.
The General Bursary uses one application per academic year, selected for the student's September, January or May entry. Durham expects students to apply for other available funding, including OSAP, before bursary consideration. The 2026–27 dates page lists October 23, 2026 for September entrants, February 19, 2027 for January entrants and June 25, 2027 for May entrants.
Durham says eligible applicants to a degree program with a combined, non-weighted average of at least 75% will be considered for a first-year Degree Entrance Scholarship. The current tiers are $500 at 75%, $1,500 at 80%, $2,000 at 85% and $3,000 at 90%, and the amounts are subject to change. The dedicated page defines eligibility only through degree-program applicants and the stated average. It does not publish residency, intake or other-funding exclusions. Check the program page or Admission Services before budgeting for the award.
