Dawson’s program list includes two-year pre-university examples such as Science, Science, Computer Science and Mathematics and Social Science, and three-year technical examples such as Computer Science Technology, Civil Engineering Technology and Nursing. A profile is a stream within a program: Dawson explains that you apply to the profile, while the graduation diploma names the program. Individual program pages control prerequisites and should be checked before applying.
Dawson’s one-year Pathways transition program has two streams: Science and Technology Prerequisites (081.PR), for students missing at least one required science-sector subject, and Orientation (081.OR), available only as a second choice. Applicants need a DES or equivalent and no completed prior CEGEP or university studies. The program does not award a DEC, permits at most two semesters, and allows an application to transfer into a DEC program after one semester. Admission to that later program remains conditional.
