Canadore College Tuition and Aid

North Bay, Ontario

Separate program fees, tuition deposits, refund deductions and aid eligibility before deciding what amount is recoverable.

Read the current payment calendar

Canadore says costs vary by program and can include tuition, ancillary and incidental fees. Its current calendar lists Fall 2026 deposit timing on June 1 and a final due date of August 4. Winter 2027 lists November 16 and November 30, while Summer 2027 lists no deposit and a March 30 final date. International students must use the amounts and dates on page two of their Letter of Acceptance.

Preserve the domestic deposit-date conflict

The same official fee page also retains domestic refund text calling $250 a non-refundable deposit due June 15. That conflicts with the Fall 2026 calendar's June 1 deposit date. Confirm the individualized fee statement or Admissions instruction before paying; do not silently substitute either date. The $250 is applied to the student account, but its non-refundable treatment matters when withdrawing.

Understand domestic and OSAP refunds

For eligible domestic full-time withdrawals within ten business days of the semester start, the published rule refunds current-period tuition and ancillary fees less $250 and refunds prepaid later semesters. A formal withdrawal is required. For OSAP students, the refund less the non-refundable charge goes to the National Student Loans Service Centre. After ten days, current-semester charges are non-refundable while prepaid later semesters remain refundable.

Check international refund conditions

For an international visa refusal before the tenth day, proof must be submitted within 60 calendar days of receipt of the refusal for the applicable LOA and term; a $300 administration charge applies. Other international non-attendance or deferral after the LOA start, or withdrawal within ten business days, forfeits the $2,700 deposit. International requests use the current policy and OCAS route.

Use awards and aid by eligibility

Canadore routes students to OSAP, entrance awards, bursaries and scholarships, but eligibility and windows differ. Its financial-support page describes entrance awards for first-year Ontario residents enrolled full time, an October bursary application period, and a November-to-December scholarship period. The same page warns that funds are limited, so an application is not confirmed funding and students should plan resources before attendance.

Decision checklist

  • Use the exact program fee row and applicant payment notice.
  • Ask Admissions to resolve the published June 1 versus June 15 domestic deposit dates.
  • Submit the formal withdrawal and apply the domestic, OSAP or international rule.
  • Match award eligibility and application period; do not budget an unconfirmed award.
