Ray Lawson Hall rooms
Ray Lawson Hall offers single and double rooms and one three-bedroom apartment. Single rooms sit in pods of eight around a shared living area with two full washrooms. Double rooms share a washroom with the room next door. Every floor has a full kitchen, and the building has study rooms, laundry and common areas with TVs. Barrier-free rooms are available; note your needs on the application.
Applying and paying
Residence costs $6,257 to $9,800 for 2026–27, depending on the room, plus a $100 non-refundable application fee. Accept a room offer by the date in your application, usually June, then pay the full fee or a $150 payment extension fee by July 17, 2026. If you're waiting for OSAP or other government aid, file the Residence Payment Extension Form by July 17.
Living there
Fees include internet, unlimited laundry, utilities and live-in staff. You'll learn your roommate on move-in day, and you can request a roommate if both of you name each other. Overnight guests are limited to four nights a month. If residence isn't for you, Sault lists off-campus housing on its website.

Premium single rooms ($8,107) aren't available during the academic year. Rates include internet, laundry and a residence activity fee. Pay in full or file the $150 payment extension by July 17, 2026, or lose the room. 2027–28 rates aren't published yet.
