Sault's Student Job Centre offers free job search help to students and alumni. Employment Solutions offices in Sault Ste. Marie and Blind River serve job seekers and employers, with services in French too. Employer Services helps local employers hire students and new grads, including through job fairs.
Hands-on learning in programs
Many programs build work-ready skills through labs, shops and projects. In Computer Programming, your final semester is a capstone where you design a software prototype for a real business or community partner. Career help doesn't guarantee a job.
Placement checks
Programs with placements, practicums or outreach may need a police record check or vulnerable sector check, and some need immunizations reviewed at the Health Centre. International students should check each program's placement rules on its page.
