The catalogue describes one WIL term after the first four terms: students may take a competitive co-op placement or an industry project. The listed prerequisites include all terms 1–3 courses and at least 75% of term 4 courses. Its detailed estimate lists program/student fees of $7,973 for year 1, $8,097 for year 2 and $2,291 for year 3, where year 3 is the co-op/industry-project term. Books and supplies are separate. Program structures differ materially. Civil Engineering Technology is a 32-month diploma at Notre Dame with two paid co-op terms and a named, conditional University of Manitoba pathway. Culinary Skills is a one-year South Winnipeg certificate whose third term is a co-op. Business Administration is a two-year diploma offered in person and online with specialization choices. Confirm the current intake, admission standard and placement conditions on the exact program page.

Use the term and room type when comparing housing. The published figures use standard term dates, and each resident’s charge is prorated to the exact contract days. The page lists Fall 2026 as August 29–December 19 and Winter 2027 as January 2–May 1; break-room charges may be extra or prorated.

A room offer is secured with the $350 residence deposit, normally due within five days. New applicants can cancel without penalty until one month before the standard move-in date; after that deadline, a paid deposit is not refunded if the applicant does not move in or complete a contract. Documented study-permit denial or non-admission may be considered for a no-penalty refund.

After move-in, early termination requires approval and must be requested by the term deadline: October 29, 2026 for fall, March 2, 2027 for winter or July 2, 2027 for spring. Approved early termination normally adds a $350 fee and forfeits the deposit; moving out after the deadline forfeits all residence fees. An award application is not a promise of funding, so check eligibility, documents and deadlines for each listing.

Application and seat deposits are separate from tuition. You pay $122 domestic or $160 international per application. Then a full-time program deposit is $400 domestic, $100 Indigenous or $5,000 international. The fee page says these deposits are non-transferable and non-refundable. The program deposit is applied to program fees.

The live catalogue displayed 488 award records on September 13, 2026. It mixes automatic selection with application-based awards and annual deadlines. For example, the Accutech Engineering Resident of Nunavut Award lists a September 15 annual deadline. The Alan and Doreen Thompson Business Administration Award lists September 30. Availability still depends on the exact award, eligibility and current listing. Use the catalogue. Do not treat the count as guaranteed funding.

RRC Transfer Credit advising says to apply as soon as possible after paying the admission deposit. Full-time students with a fall start should apply before August 1; for other start dates, apply at least one month before the start. Every request must arrive before the course midpoint.
