Canadian citizens and permanent residents should choose a program, check its requirements, create an RRC online account, complete the application and pay the application fee. Required documentation is generally due within 15 days, with a shorter deadline when applying close to the start date. The online account supports academic history, uploads, application status and personal information.
International applicants should review the international program list, English-language requirements, intake and document rules. RRC says most programs require a Canadian Grade 12 equivalent; requirements vary by program. International applicants upload documents through the account and should plan well ahead. A study-permit or post-graduation work-permit decision is outside this profile: check current RRC and government guidance.
The current fees page lists a $122 non-refundable, non-transferable domestic application fee and a $160 non-refundable international application fee for each application. Full-time program deposits are $400 domestic, $100 for Indigenous students and $5,000 international; they are credited toward program fees but forfeited if the student does not register or cancels. International applicants must pay the non-refundable deposit within 14 days of an offer for the Letter of Acceptance to be issued.
