Each campus has Student Services, a gym and access to health care. Contact Accessibility Services as soon as you accept.
Accessibility Services
Accessibility Services supports students with physical, sensory or mental health disabilities. Contact the team as soon as you accept your offer. An Accessibility Advisor builds your Accommodation Plan, Learning Strategists and Assistive Technologists offer one-on-one help, and the Testing Centre runs accommodated exams. The CollegeBound course helps registered students move from high school to college.
Health and mental health
A Mental Health Advisor helps you find support on campus and in the community. The East End Family Health Team provides health services at the Timmins campus, and a doctor visits Haileybury regularly. Domestic students have health and dental coverage through the student plan.
Gyms and the Wellness Centre
Each campus has exercise rooms and a gym, free for students. The Timmins Wellness Centre has a weight room, squash court, saunas and a full-size gym for basketball, volleyball, indoor soccer and badminton. Student Advisors help with academic or personal concerns at every campus.
Indigenous Services
Indigenous Student Advisors work at the Timmins and Moosonee campuses, and Moosonee has the Ootahpanask Cree Cultural Centre. If you self-identify, you get connected to Indigenous Advisors and Elders and are invited to cultural events and ceremonies.
