NorQuest College admissions and applicant routes
Edmonton, Alberta
Domestic, Indigenous and international routes use different systems, fees and deadlines.
Choose the generated applicant route
The live application guide asks for both the program and applicant type before showing instructions. Canadian citizens, permanent residents and refugees generally use ApplyAlberta, while international applicants use NorQuest’s virtual admissions system. The displayed fee belongs to that generated route; do not assume one application fee covers every program or applicant category.
Confirm the displayed fee
For standard career-program routes reviewed September 13, 2026, the guide displays a $100 non-refundable, non-transferable domestic application fee and a $155 international fee. It displays $25 for some foundational routes and no fee for some programs. Confirm the generated instructions for the exact selection before paying.
Use the Indigenous waiver correctly
NorQuest waives the application fee and tuition deposit for applicants who self-identify as Indigenous, and says ApplyAlberta applies that waiver automatically. NorQuest also holds space for Indigenous learners in high-demand programs. Applicants should still complete the exact program requirements and monitor their account for outstanding items.
Track the current deadline
Current general deadlines are June 9 for international Fall applications, October 15 for Winter and February 9 for Spring or Summer. Domestic applications close on the first Friday of the term. Admission is first-qualified, first-admitted subject to seat availability, so a published closing date does not reserve a seat.
Complete MyQuest tasks by purpose
After applying, use MyQuest and MyMail for document requests, admission status and the To Do list. Requirements remain program-specific, and some To Do items concern a later practicum rather than admission. Keep application submission, fee payment, admission, deposit and course registration as separate completed steps.
