Arrange accessibility support
Accessibility Services supports documented permanent or temporary disabilities. Possible supports include test and in-class accommodations, assistive technology, alternate-format material and learning strategies. Students first request an appointment with an Accessibility Consultant; the service describes appointments as free and confidential.
Choose academic and wellbeing services
Welland and Niagara-on-the-Lake each provide a central Health, Wellness and Accessibility location. Student Life also links academic advising, career services, libraries and learning centres. The libraries offer research help, peer services and bookable study spaces at both campuses.
Use specialised learning and community routes
Accessibility support can include pre-admission testing, alternate-format materials, assistive-technology training and learning strategies after an Accessibility Consultant appointment. Academic or International Student Advising, Indigenous Education, Student Rights and Responsibilities and student mental-health resources remain separate routes with their own access steps.
Plan involvement and campus access
Athletics, campus recreation, events and volunteering provide different ways to participate. NCSAC operates student-life advocacy and activities, while campus services include dining, parking, transit and safety. Check the current campus and service route because hours, spaces and participation conditions can differ.
