Compare the two residences
Both residence pages price one private bedroom in a two-person shared suite. For September 2026–April 2027, one payment is $9,600. Two payments total $9,700 including a $100 administration fee. Three total $9,800 including a $200 administration fee. These options exclude the December–January break. Summer is $3,400; Winter is $4,800.
Apply in the correct audience window
Domestic academic-year applicants are encouraged to apply February 1–April 15 for the acceptance lottery; later applications join an availability-dependent, first-come waitlist. International applicants using the February 1–July 1 window need confirmed visa and travel documents. Their first acceptance date is July 2 or the next business day.
Accept an offer and plan payment
Winter applications open September 15, all begin on a first-come waitlist, and availability is described as extremely limited. The live banner instead says applications open February 2 at 9 AM EST while rate sections say February 1. Verify the portal. After an offer, complete acceptance paperwork within 48 hours or the offer may be revoked.
Check cancellation and alternate housing
Every application has a $100 non-refundable fee, and paying it does not guarantee placement. Cancellation, withdrawal or academic dismissal can result in assessed fees. The public pages reviewed do not publish a current 2026–27 refund schedule; accepted students receive the current agreement in the Housing Portal. Residence does not accept an OSAP promissory note. Places4Students listings are external landlord housing. International homestay and Landing Pad are separate routes; Landing Pad provides 30 days with a host and two meals daily. Confirm current eligibility and price.

Same displayed schedule at both campuses. Academic-year options exclude the December–January break. Live pages retain an updating-rates alert and conflicting February 1/February 2 opening language; verify the portal.
