Compare provider and lease terms

NAIT’s current housing page provides a partner homestay route for international students, a list of third-party Edmonton providers, and off-campus listing services. It does not publish an application or rate for a NAIT-operated residence. NAIT expressly says the listed housing providers are not endorsed or reviewed by the institution.

For homestay, students are responsible for finding their own family and obtain rates and services from Canada Homestay Network. For other rentals, compare monthly versus annual leases and which utilities are included. Also check laundry, building security, roommate liability and bus or LRT access. Housing price, availability, deposits and cancellation terms belong to the provider’s current agreement.

Confirm transit eligibility

NAIT’s page broadly describes U-Pass access, while NAITSA publishes the current eligibility boundary. The fee applies in fall, winter or spring to students with at least one on-campus credit course or a credit course with an on-campus component. Apprentices, fully online students, non-credit students and students whose courses start after the exemption deadline are excluded. Confirm eligibility before using transit access as a housing assumption.
