NAIT’s tuition page says payment deadlines and term dates use a standard 15-week term, although some programs differ. Program tuition, mandatory fees, books and supplies are separate budgeting lines. The additional-fees page lists a $115 domestic application fee and a $500 domestic tuition deposit. It lists a $5,000 international tuition deposit; both deposits are non-refundable and should be checked against the offer terms.

NAIT’s international tuition page gives a 2026/27 estimated average of $45,606 CAD for tuition, fees and approximate living costs over two semesters, or eight months. Books and supplies are separate from tuition, but the combined $45,606 estimate includes a $2,773 allowance for books, supplies and program fees. The amount is a planning estimate rather than an individual invoice. The same page publishes program-specific per-credit, yearly and full-program tuition estimates. These assume a full course load and standard duration, so registration changes alter the result.

Use the correct funding route

NAIT separates government student aid from scholarships, bursaries, grants and entrance awards. Its funding page limits the stated government-aid citizenship category to Canadian citizens, permanent residents and protected persons. Steps vary by program, province and study load. Awards use MyAwards Central to produce a tailored list, and incomplete or late applications are not considered. The degree, diploma and certificate application guide says applicants receive entrance-award access after applying and creating MyNAIT. Check the current email and deadline rather than assuming every award is automatic.
