The amount is a planning estimate rather than an individual invoice. The same page publishes program-specific per-credit, yearly and full-program tuition estimates. These assume a full course load and standard duration, so registration changes alter the result.
Use the correct funding route
NAIT separates government student aid from scholarships, bursaries, grants and entrance awards. Its funding page limits the stated government-aid citizenship category to Canadian citizens, permanent residents and protected persons. Steps vary by program, province and study load. Awards use MyAwards Central to produce a tailored list, and incomplete or late applications are not considered. The degree, diploma and certificate application guide says applicants receive entrance-award access after applying and creating MyNAIT. Check the current email and deadline rather than assuming every award is automatic.
