Accessibility Centre

The Accessibility Centre supports students with permanent or temporary disabilities, such as ADHD, learning disabilities, mental health conditions, hearing or vision loss and mobility impairments. Staff offer counselling, accommodation planning, learning strategies and assistive technology training, and help you build an individual success plan. Interim accommodations are possible while you're being assessed. Email ac@lambtoncollege.ca to book.

Counselling and health care

Three on-site counsellors offer personal and mental health counselling to full- and part-time students by appointment. Academic and career counselling helps if you want to change programs without starting over. The Health and Wellness Centre has a full-time registered nurse, and a nurse practitioner visits weekly. Peer Wellness and student clubs offer more ways to connect.

Navigators, tutoring and the library

Every student has an assigned Student Success Navigator, found in myLambton, who helps with online platforms, payments, important dates and referrals to tutoring, housing or accessibility. The library in C1-200 offers research help, subject guides and e-books, and students borrow with their LC Card.

Lions athletics and fitness

The Lambton Lions field varsity teams including men's and women's basketball and soccer. The 6,000-square-foot fitness centre has cardio machines, spin bikes, strength machines and free weights. Your compulsory athletic fee supports varsity and intramural sports and the gym.

Indigenous Student Centre

The Indigenous Student Centre is a dedicated space for First Nation, Inuit and Métis students, with a College Ready orientation and an end-of-year success celebration. The Indigenous Outdoor Space is a purpose-built gathering place on campus.
