Residence in 2026–27
For 2026–27, residence fees depend on your term and room type, single or double. They include utilities, high-speed internet, a furnished suite and a base meal plan. Every application has a $100 non-refundable fee. Residence doesn't defer fees for students waiting for OSAP, so you need to pay by the published deadlines.
New residence opening Fall 2027
Lambton's new residence opens in Fall 2027 with 50 apartment-style suites (167 beds) and 67 semi-private suites (134 beds). It will have floor kitchens on every level, six lounges, study spaces, laundry and an on-site micro market. Lambton will release fees, application dates and room selection details closer to opening, and you can email info@lambtoncollege.ca for updates.
Meal plans
Residence students can buy an optional meal plan for campus dining, including Tim Hortons, Subway and the cafeteria. Money left after the fall term rolls into winter, but anything unused at the end of winter is forfeited without a refund.
Renting off campus
Most off-campus students rent a room in a shared house or apartment, often with roommates, on an 8 to 12 month lease. Budget for utilities and internet, which are often extra. You may need to pay last month's rent as a deposit, and your landlord must give you a copy of the signed lease within 21 days.
