Use the portal for student tasks
Use the student portal for account and academic-service access. Registration, records and account tasks can differ before and after enrolment, so follow the registrar instruction attached to the task rather than assuming every portal user has the same access.
Borrow and learn through the library
The Ottawa library lends materials with a valid student card, keeps course materials on reserve for on-site consultation and offers database-search instruction, research orientation and library tours. Its service desk is in A3020; verify current hours and borrowing rules before travelling.
Find campus activities and safety support
The student-services page lists the student association, a recently renovated sports complex, Coyotes competitive and recreational teams, health and wellbeing support and employment support. Its free evening accompaniment service operates October through April, Monday to Friday from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m.; a two-person team provides 15–20-minute walking accompaniment. Campus Security is a separate service present 24/7, reached through emergency posts or extension 3000.
