Work Integrated Learning supports current students and alumni with employer connections, career resources, resumes, cover letters and interviews. Students can request a resume critique by email or attend an Employment Skills workshop. For interview practice, book Career Guidance and then schedule a mock interview for feedback.
Find jobs and book appointments
GradLeaders provides the online job board and appointment route. Students can filter openings by industry, location or job type, save postings, track applications and receive notifications. A posting is an opportunity to apply. Verify the employer’s eligibility, deadline, location and application instructions before submitting materials.
Explore your interests with an assessment
The Strong Interest Inventory can help identify skills, values and career interests. Students can request the assessment from WIL. Use its results to develop questions and research options rather than treating them as a job outcome. Faculty can also request workshops for career exploration and workplace preparation.
Compare Business and Power Engineering co-op
Program co-op rules remain separate from general career support. Business Management describes a minimum 420-hour co-op credit between Years 1 and 2. Third Class Power Engineering requires successful completion of Term 1 before a competitive six-month paid work term. Employer compensation and placement remain conditional.
