Career Services for students and grads

Fleming Career Services works with students and recent graduates. It runs job boards and a virtual bulletin board, reviews resumes and cover letters, preps you for interviews and hosts recruiting events and job fairs. You can book one-on-one appointments with a Career Educator.

Career planning and events

Career preparation covers career exploration, planning, advising and labour market information. Career Services also runs in-person and online workshops, employer presentations and networking events. Employers recruit through the same office, so watch the job board during your program.

Placements and co-op

Placements and co-op terms belong to individual programs, and program fees can cover placement or co-op costs. Fleming's international page says that since April 1, 2026, international students don't need a separate co-op work permit for program-required placements. Their study permit must state that they're authorized to work. Career help doesn't guarantee a job.

Further study after Fleming

Fleming has transfer agreements with colleges and universities in Ontario, across Canada and abroad. Each agreement sets its own admission requirements and credit. If there's no agreement with the school you want, you can still apply there, and that school assesses your credits. Contact the Education Pathways Office before you count on a credit total.

Decision checklist

  • Book a Career Educator before your final term.
  • Confirm your program's placement or co-op rules.
  • Check a named pathway agreement before transferring.
