Arrange current off-campus housing
Douglas’s international housing guidance lists screened homestay providers, Global Education City student housing options and private rental resources. It warns that accommodation can be difficult to secure and does not endorse the listed companies, so availability and suitability remain the student’s responsibility.
Treat 808 Royal as future capacity
The 808 Royal project is described as a future building across from New Westminster Campus with 368 student beds. Douglas says completion is anticipated in late 2027, opening timing and exact room rates are not yet finalized, and demand is expected to exceed supply.
The 808 Royal page still describes the project rather than an available residence application. Until Douglas publishes an opening date, room types, rates and assignment process, plan housing through the current off-campus guidance and treat the future bed count as project scope rather than personal availability.
