Choose the correct fee schedule
Douglas’s fee chart page labels Fall 2026 schedules separately for international students, domestic 1000/2000-level and 3000/4000/5000-level courses, and other fee categories. Use the estimator for a program-specific calculation because tuition, student activity, U-Pass and other charges depend on credits and eligibility.
Douglas's current international sources agree on Fall 2026 tuition of $682.40 CAD per credit and $20,472 for 30 credits before mandatory fees. They conflict on the displayed 12-credit total and the $276.95 DSU health-and-dental charge. The overview shows $8,827.05 and calls that charge additional for a September start. The linked Fall 2026 schedule shows $8,833.00 with $276.95 in the health-and-dental column. Use the term schedule and your account invoice; this guide does not choose one conflicting all-in total.
Understand refunds and aid timing
For standard 15-week Fall 2026 courses, the refund page gives a 100% tuition-and-fee refund, less the non-refundable tuition deposit, through September 14. Drops from September 15 through 21 receive a 50% tuition refund per class. September 22 through November 9 withdrawals receive no refund and record a W. New first-semester international students follow a separate policy, and not paying does not remove fee liability.
Bursaries require demonstrated financial need and are supplemental funding; Douglas warns payment may not arrive until mid-term. General awards normally require returning-student status, nine Douglas letter-graded credits, a 2.67 GPA and full-time study unless the award says otherwise. General scholarships normally require returning-student status, nine such credits, a 3.0 GPA and full-time study. Individual bursary, award and scholarship rules can differ.
