Collège Boréal Careers and Placements
Sudbury, Ontario
The Centre de placement helps with resumes, interviews and finding a job or placement.
Centre de placement
Boréal's Centre de placement helps you write your resume and cover letter, prepare for interviews, and search for jobs and placements. It runs workshops, helps employers recruit students and supports you on the Verified platform. You can book with placement officers or employment consultants.
Work placements
For programs with work placements, the Centre de placement's placement officers and prospectors help find and manage stages, and it handles accidents that happen during postsecondary placements. Your program page lists any extra requirements before placement. Career help doesn't guarantee a job.
Career counselling
Boréal's counsellors also offer free, confidential career counselling by appointment, Monday to Friday, if you're unsure about your program or career plan. Part of the ancillary fees funds career services such as information sessions, job fairs and work placements.
Decision checklist
- Book a resume review at the Centre de placement.
- Check your program's placement requirements.
- Use career counselling if you're unsure.
