Career Centre services
The Career Centre helps you find on- and off-campus jobs and volunteer work, prepare your resume and cover letter, practise interviews and explore careers. Use the myCareer portal, linked from myCambrian, for job listings. Cambrian employs students year-round, and your co-curricular record documents clubs, athletics and community work.
Co-op, placements and fieldwork
Co-ops alternate study with paid work, usually four months at a time, and are evaluated by both the college and the employer. Five programs make co-op mandatory. Fieldwork and placements are unpaid and vary in length. In Computer Systems Technology (Security), for example, you complete a seven-week placement in semester six.
Career fair and alumni access
The Cambrian Career Fair Conference runs February 2, 2027, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Graduates keep access to Career Centre services. Career support doesn't guarantee a job.
Decision checklist
- Book a resume review in myCareer.
