Pay the non-refundable deposit on time, because it holds your seat. OSAP won't cover it.

Tuition and ancillary fees
Tuition varies by program and program year, and St. Lawrence publishes 2026–27 domestic and international fee schedules. International tuition includes a $375-per-semester International Student Recovery fee. Indigenous students with US citizenship can pay domestic tuition. Ancillary fees cover services such as your student ID and athletics, and some programs add their own fees.
The deposit holds your seat
Domestic students pay a $500 non-refundable deposit once per academic year, and international students pay $2,350. The deposit counts toward your first term and secures your seat. Miss the deadline and your offer may be cancelled. A $150 late fee applies once per semester, and St. Lawrence doesn't offer payment plans. Kingston full-time fees include a Kingston Transit pass.
Withdrawals and refunds
If you formally withdraw within the first 10 business days of a term, you get that term's fees back minus a $500 administrative fee and service charges. After that, only fees for future terms come back. Not attending isn't a withdrawal. Refunds take 4 to 6 weeks. International students forfeit the $2,350 deposit, and a visa refusal letter sent within 10 days of the term start brings a refund minus $150.
OSAP at St. Lawrence
OSAP is open to Ontario residents who are Canadian citizens, permanent residents or protected persons, and Ontario's 2026–27 OSAP application is open. You still pay the $500 deposit yourself, because you must enrol before OSAP pays. The earliest OSAP money reaches your bank is a week after classes start. Check slc.me in the first 10 days of each term to confirm your tuition is paid.
Bursaries and scholarships
One bursary application considers you for every award you qualify for, worth $500 to $3,000. The Fall 2026 round closed September 22, 2026, and the Winter round opens at the end of November 2026. Awards go straight to your tuition. Accepted international students can apply by December 1, 2026 for a one-time merit scholarship: $4,000 for 80% or higher, $2,000 for 70–79% and $500 for 60–69%.
