Windsor and Chatham residence
St. Clair College Residence runs Quittenton Hall at the main Windsor campus and a townhouse-style residence for 48 students in Chatham. Windsor apartments have a kitchenette and bathroom in each unit, a 24-hour front desk and housekeeping every two weeks for kitchens and bathrooms. Chatham has no front desk or housekeeping. There's no meal plan at either. The separate GEM Residence in Windsor has more than 500 single or double rooms and its own registration.
Rates and payment options
For 2026–27, the academic year costs $8,100 in one payment by June 15, 2026. Two or three payments add a $100 or $150 administrative fee. Rates include utilities, Wi-Fi, TV and a furnished suite. If you can't meet the payment options, ask a Residence Manager about a payment plan.
Guaranteed spots and acceptance
Applications are first come, first served, with a $100 non-refundable fee each term. Rates apply to full-time students, but you can apply before you're accepted to your program. The residence FAQ guarantees academic-year spots to the first 406 Windsor applicants and the first 72 at Chatham, though the campus page says Chatham's residence houses 48 students, so ask which figure is current. Acceptance emails go out in May. Suites aren't co-ed. Note any medical or accessibility needs in your acceptance details.
Cancellation fees
If you cancel or withdraw, you pay for the days you stayed plus a cancellation fee. For the academic year, that's 5% of total fees before August 1, 15% before September 1, and 25% after that. Requests must be in writing at least five business days ahead.
