Programs by campus

The main Windsor campus has over 100 programs, with the Centre for Applied Health Sciences for health labs and the Centre for Construction Innovation and Production for skilled trades. The Centre for the Arts downtown hosts programs including Advertising, Graphic Design, Paralegal and Tourism and Travel. Chatham's campus of about 1,000 students offers health sciences, community studies, business and technology, and skilled trades.

Degree requirements

St. Clair's bachelor's degrees need an OSSD with six Grade 12 U or M courses and at least a 65% average, plus program-specific requirements. They include honours degrees in Social Justice and Legal Studies and in Business Administration (Information Communication Technology), both listed as high-interest programs.

Indigenous partner programs

St. Clair partners with the Anishinabek Educational Institute to offer programs with Indigenous-specific content, including Native Community Worker: Traditional Healing Methods, Native Early Childhood Education and Practical Nursing. In the AEI Practical Nursing program, you can do your final 7-week preceptorship in your own community.

Credit transfer

You can ask for transfer credit before a course starts or before the official drop date. Courses toward a diploma need at least a C (60%), and courses toward a degree need at least a B (70%). Each course evaluation costs $25, up to $100 per submission, and takes 2 to 4 weeks. Check ONTransfer first to see if your course is already approved. Transferred credit shows as advanced standing and doesn't count in your GPA.

Decision checklist

  • Confirm your program's campus.
  • Check degree subjects and the 65% average.
  • Apply for transfer credit before the drop date.
