Career Services

Career Services helps St. Clair students and recent graduates find permanent, part-time, temporary and seasonal jobs. You can book one-on-one help or walk in for resumes, cover letters, applications, interview practice and job search strategy. Workshops and resume clinics run through the school year.

Job postings and career fairs

Career Central lists jobs from local and regional employers online. Its career fairs focus on specific fields, such as health care, business and IT, engineering and skilled trades, and first responders, plus a part-time job fair. Industry events can lead to co-op, internship or full-time contacts, and Career Services runs readiness workshops beforehand.

Employment results

St. Clair reports 88.4% graduate employment six months after graduation and 88.9% employer satisfaction, from 2022–23 Ontario college Key Performance Indicator results. These are college-wide averages, not a promise for any one program, and career help doesn't guarantee a job.

Decision checklist

  • Walk in for a resume review.
  • Attend a career fair in your field.
  • Ask your program about placement or co-op.
