Silver King in Nelson listed a single room at $950 per month or $3,800 per term. Its one-term total was $4,250 with the same $50 application fee and $400 damage deposit; accessible singles had private washrooms.

Follow the confirmation sequence

Both pages prioritize students relocating from outside West Kootenay who are in full-time programs and carry at least a 50% course load. Lower course loads require special permission, and assignment follows application and fee timing.

The application fee is non-refundable and required before processing. Confirmation follows an approved application, signed contract and damage deposit; full-term fees are due six weeks before move-in, so an availability message is not a room guarantee.

Students awaiting loans, scholarships or bursaries must submit a promissory note and a loans-office letter confirming entitlement and expected disbursement. They must still pay one month of rent six weeks before moving in.

Both pages list early arrival and late departure at $60 per night, a $250 winter-break stay by application, and a $25 administration fee for amounts unpaid by the deadline.
