Use the job-search supports
Employment Services gives current students and graduates access to the StudentJobs board for full-time, part-time, summer and contract roles. It also offers résumé, cover-letter and interview support; access to a board or advising is not a job promise.
Follow the work-experience contract
Work-integrated learning varies by program. The College describes paid, full-time co-op positions of at least 420 hours, while practicums and field placements are unpaid and some hospitality programs use mandatory work terms.
For co-op, students prepare a résumé, search and apply, interview, obtain a co-op-eligible job and sign an agreement. They then pay the associated tuition, complete a mid-term check-in and final report, and earn six credits for the four-month term.
