Use the student account tools
Use the student handbook’s online-resources page to find myOkanagan and related account links. The online-resources page links myOkanagan, where students can reach records, schedule and email resources, and Brightspace is listed for Fall 2026 learning access. Portal access depends on whether you are an applicant or enrolled student; follow the live instructions for your status.
Open Brightspace through the college website’s action centre or the Brightspace link in myOkanagan, then sign in with your assigned OC email address. The handbook links a self-paced Brightspace orientation. If login fails, contact IT Services at support@okanagan.bc.ca or 1-866-839-4032; live support chat operates during business hours only. Students needing accommodations or adaptive technology can use the handbook’s Disability Access Services link.
Find counselling and campus support
For personal, academic or career concerns, Okanagan’s wellbeing page links appointment requests for short-term OC counselling. It also lists Here2Talk: free, confidential counselling and referrals available around the clock to domestic and international students currently registered at a B.C. post-secondary institution. Use the service link to choose phone, app or online chat support; do not assume campus appointments operate on the same schedule.
To connect with people on campus, look for Wellness Peer Ambassadors at OC events or contact Recreation and Student Life. The wellbeing page also directs students to Indigenous Peer Mentors, who share information, resources and referrals through the Indigenous Centre. Ask Indigenous Services about current activities and contacts. These are distinct routes for community support, rather than substitutes for an appointment with a counsellor.
