Career Services appointments
Career Services helps students and alumni with career planning, part-time and on-campus jobs, and job searches. Book a free one-on-one session through the myCareer portal for help with your resume, cover letter, interviews, networking or career plan. Sessions run 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Monday to Friday, in the Belleville Career Centre, on Teams or by phone.
Mock interviews and the job board
You can book a one-on-one mock interview with a full-time staff member. The myCareer portal also holds job postings and your co-curricular record.
Co-op and program fees
Co-op and placements belong to individual programs. Loyalist's fee schedule lists program ancillary fees such as a $900 co-op fee in the fourth semester of Cyber Security and of the two-year Artificial Intelligence and Data Science program. Check your program's curriculum and fees before you plan around a work term. Career support doesn't guarantee a job.
Working in Canada after graduation
International students planning to work in Canada after graduating should choose a program on Loyalist's PGWP-aligned list. Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) decides who gets a permit, and Loyalist updates the list as the rules change.
