What tuition includes
Confederation's 2026–27 full-time tuition tables include all mandatory tuition and non-tuition fees, but not supplies, books, uniforms or program-specific costs. Each program page lists full cost details for Canadian and international students. If you take more than 105% of a full-time load, you pay for the extra hours at the part-time rate.
Deposit and payment dates
First-year domestic students pay a non-refundable $200 deposit, which goes toward tuition. It was due June 15, 2026 for fall, and the calendar lists June 15, 2027 for the next fall intake. You can ask for a reduced deposit, but your total fees are still due in August. For Fall 2026, final tuition was due August 4, 2026, and registration opened July 20 once you'd paid.
OSAP and tuition deferral
Ontario's 2026–27 OSAP application is open. If your OSAP is complete, your MSFAA is approved and your award covers what you owe, Confederation automatically defers your tuition. You still pay the $200 deposit. For 2026–27 fall and winter programs, OSAP applications are due February 22, 2027 and documents by March 14, 2027. Funding arrives from the first day of school, about 60% in the fall.
Awards and grants
Student awards average more than $400,000 a year, based on need, achievement or involvement, through one Awards Management System that needs a Need Score Sheet. First-year applications open in spring and summer, and in-program awards open in the fall. The Ontario Learn and Stay Grant covers tuition, books and fees for first-year Nursing, Practical Nursing and Paramedic students who agree to work in the region afterward.
