Check whether applications are open

The on-campus page says Spring/Summer 2026 and Fall/Winter 2026–27 applications are open and advises applying early after receiving a student number because spaces fill quickly. Open applications and payment of the application fee do not state that a room is guaranteed.

Compare room arrangements and rates

Purcell House houses 96 students in six-bedroom units with a shared full kitchen, two washrooms and living room. Its 2026–27 September-to-April rate is $2,640 for Fall plus $2,640 for Winter. The Village provides a private bathroom for each student and a shared kitchen; its corresponding rate is $3,000 per semester.

Budget fees and deposits

Both pages list a $35 CAD non-refundable application fee before placement on a rooming list, a $300 CAD security deposit held for the stay, and payment before arrival. Programs outside standard semesters can have revised rates and deadlines, so those students are directed to Housing Services.

Inspect off-campus options

The off-campus page recommends seeing a rental in person, or asking someone trusted to inspect it, before sending money or signing. Its rental links and estimated $15–$30 monthly tenant-insurance range are planning resources, not a College housing placement or quote for a particular policy.
