International applicants choose a program. They submit the non-refundable application fee. Then they wait for instructions to provide transcripts and English-language evidence where applicable. A successful applicant receives an offer and Payment Information Letter. The College requires payment before issuing the Letter of Acceptance and Provincial Attestation Letter. Students who need a study permit must then follow IRCC instructions.

The international English page lists several routes. Examples for direct academic entry include IELTS Academic overall 6.0 with no band below 6.0. They also include TOEFL iBT overall 80 with specified component minimums. The page also lists CAEL-CE 60 with no sub-score below 60 and PTE Academic overall 56. Program-specific requirements can differ. So use the requirements attached to the chosen program.

CIST is described as a two-year, full-time, 60-credit diploma. It covers software, programming and hardware skills for computer-systems support. The page labels delivery blended. The intake is Fall. Eligibility is domestic and international. Consult the linked academic-calendar outline for exact admission and completion rules. Do not infer them from the marketing summary.

The page lists transfer agreements to Mount Royal University's BCIS, NAIT's Bachelor of Technology and the University of Lethbridge Bachelor of Science in Computer Science. Only the NAIT row displays a B-minus minimum note. A listed agreement is a route to investigate, not a personal admission or credit guarantee.

CIST appears on the College's official co-op-option list. The option adds the one-credit COOP-100 preparation course and the three-credit COOP-150 work term to the student's transcript; those co-op courses do not replace any diploma requirement.

Purcell House houses 96 students in six-bedroom units with a shared full kitchen, two washrooms and living room. Its 2026–27 September-to-April rate is $2,640 for Fall plus $2,640 for Winter. The Village provides a private bathroom for each student and a shared kitchen; its corresponding rate is $3,000 per semester.

Both pages list a $35 CAD non-refundable application fee before placement on a rooming list, a $300 CAD security deposit held for the stay, and payment before arrival. Programs outside standard semesters can have revised rates and deadlines, so those students are directed to Housing Services.

The off-campus page recommends seeing a rental in person, or asking someone trusted to inspect it, before sending money or signing. Its rental links and estimated $15–$30 monthly tenant-insurance range are planning resources, not a College housing placement or quote for a particular policy.

The fee page says the Winter 2027 semester deadline is November 13, 2026 and Spring 2026 and 2027 fees are due at the start of class. The important-dates page gives August 7, 2026 for Fall 2026 semestered programs. Some program groups use the date in the admission letter. Student-loan deferral requires proof of the aid application or assessment, and an uncovered balance remains due by the established date.

College awards have separate eligibility. The general page describes current-student full time as a 60% course load, or 40% for a student with a documented disability. Its entrance scholarship is for Canadian citizens or permanent residents arriving directly from secondary school. The entrance bursary is for eligible first-year full-time post-secondary students with financial need and a student-aid assessment or budget evidence. The displayed July 15, 2026 bursary deadline is a past cycle; the page separately says entrance bursary applications will open in 2027.

The fee page limits the mandatory Cranbrook-area bus pass to eligible on-campus study at Cranbrook and Gold Creek; online students are excluded. Full-time students receive Cranbrook transit access and designated RecPlex swim access through that fee. Students outside Cranbrook should verify local transportation separately.

Students comparing campus life should distinguish the main Cranbrook campus from Gold Creek and regional campuses. The main campus contains the listed student-service and academic buildings as well as Purcell House; program delivery still determines where a student must attend.

Eligibility requires good academic standing, completion or current completion of 24 first-year credits by the end of Winter, successful COOP-100 completion, May-to-August availability and a return to full-time study after the work term. Students secure a work term with office support, register and pay for COOP-150, and complete at least 420 paid hours; participation does not state that placement is guaranteed.

Employment Services serves students and alumni with workshops, an annual Career Fair, in-person support and online resources. The Experience Portal supports custom job searches, résumé and cover-letter storage, event listings and posted volunteer opportunities. These services and the program's transfer-agreement rows are planning tools rather than promises of employment, salary, admission or transfer credit.
