Explore the support directory
CMTN’s support directory covers orientation, academic and accessibility help, advising, Indigenous student support and financial aid. Leaders in Action students also help with campus events and social, sporting and cultural activities. Availability can differ by campus.
Arrange accessibility support
Accessibility Services asks students to connect before classes, preferably three months early when support takes longer. Permanent and temporary disabilities may be assessed, but appropriate documentation determines eligibility. CMTN does not pay to obtain that documentation.
Use broad wellness routes
Here2Talk offers free counselling to B.C. post-secondary students through an app, phone or web chat, with registration required. Early Assist connects students facing mental-health, academic or other difficulties with a Learning Assistance staff member.
Check counselling coverage
Regional counselling funding has narrower conditions. The published arrangement covers $75 through the student plan and CMTN pays the balance for up to five sessions yearly, only for full-time students who have not opted out. Others should ask about options.
