CMTN accepts applications during the 12 months before a program starts. Most programs use first-qualified, first-admitted processing, but a program may add deadlines, competitive selection, checks or supporting documents. Continuous-intake programs follow a different timeline.
Complete the record
Apply through EducationPlannerBC and submit the program’s documents promptly. Unofficial copies can start domestic processing, but official school or post-secondary records are required for university-level programs and health science career training. Nursing does not hold waitlists.
Protect the registered seat
An admitted domestic applicant pays a $100 non-refundable commitment deposit, applied to first-semester tuition, before course registration. Acceptance does not guarantee a course seat; registration controls the seat, and failing to pay can put the program place at risk.
Follow international conditions
International applicants pay a separate $100 non-refundable application fee. The retained page lists a $9,000 deposit for starts from Spring 2025 onward, with full first-year fees required for named trades routes. Do not travel before first-term registration.
