A one-on-one advising call between a student and a current university student adviser

Talk to a student who has lived the application.

Ask a verified current student about programs, scholarships, and deadlines. They can also tell you what the official pages leave out.

What your advising session covers

Bring one real decision. Leave with a short action plan you can check against official sources, and know who does what next.

  1. 01

    Tell us the decision

Name the university, program, deadline, or application question you need to work through.

  2. 02

    We confirm the match

Choose a listed adviser or request relevant school, program, language, or lived experience.

  3. 03

    Prepare the session

Bring your courses, shortlist, prompt, or draft so the session has something real to work on.

  4. 04

Questions before you book

Cost, the free first consultation and what an adviser can help with.

Stellar peer advisers are verified current university students. Their profiles state their school, program, year, languages and areas of firsthand experience, so you can judge whether the match is relevant. Meet the advisers or read how we choose and train them.

Yes. Each account gets one free 30-minute consultation, subject to availability. We use it to understand your situation and suggest where to start.

Course selection is free, and the other services have starting prices, from $15 per essay for essay review and $20 for most other services. Full one-on-one advising has no set price: the cost depends on how many schools and applications you need help with, so we quote it after a free consultation. See services and prices. The final price depends on scope, and we confirm it with you before any paid work starts. It can flex with your family's circumstances.

Before we start, we agree on the scope: the schools, programs, scholarships and residences you're applying to. We estimate the time it will take. If the agreed work takes longer than we estimated, that's on us. If you add schools or applications later, we'll quote the extra work before we start.

Programs and school choices, application and scholarship plans, deadlines, supplementary applications and essay feedback. They share firsthand context and help you present your own experience clearly.

They can't guarantee admission, act as a university official, or give immigration, legal, medical or financial advice.

It's the same help, split into six parts like essay review or scholarship applications, so you can pay for just the help you need. Take one, or choose full one-on-one advising for the whole application cycle.

Yes. Use the consultation form to tell us the university, program, language or lived perspective you're looking for. We'll confirm whether a suitable verified adviser is available instead of promising a match we can't provide.

Either. You can ask for a phone or video consultation when you send your request.

Your target programs, applicant type, transcript or course list, deadlines, and the decision or draft you want to work through. Don't send passwords, banking details or identity documents you don't need to share.

No. Core and Premium cover live group sessions, daily AI essay reviews and the member playbooks. One-on-one advising is booked separately. Compare plans.

Peer guidance is educational. Always verify requirements and deadlines on the official university page.
